CommuniSki Privacy Policy

CommuniSki takes your Privacy extremely seriously and this privacy policy explains how we use the personal data we collect from you when you use our website or apps.

The Short Version

We’re a social platform driven by user generated content, and for CommuniSki to work and be useful we need to collect some data.

We only collect the data we need for everything to run smoothly and as you use CommuniSki it should be pretty obvious what data we’re collecting:

  • when you sign up and give us your name, email address and phone number – guess what? We store that!
  • when you join a Ski Group at Lake Louise for next Saturday, we need to store that data too.
  • if you use our GPS tracking we need your location data so we can process it for you, and to provide other services that rely on collective GPS data

We don’t collect a load of unnecessary data and we certainly don’t sell your personal data to anyone else.

Bottom Line – we only collect and process your data to help you get more out of your skiing/riding and to benefit the wider community. Our business model doesn’t rely on us doing sneaky/questionable things with your data!
